PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lead damper with which fuse-sticking between the lead part and a flange parts can surely be performed and impurities can easily be removed from this fuse-stuck surface. SOLUTION: The flange parts 12, 13 are stood up in the perpendicular direction and assembled in a metallic mold to form a cavity C, and at the upper part of the cavity C, an opening part 20A is formed. Molten lead is poured from the opening part 20A, and while confirming fuse-sticking state at the upper end part of the stuck surface between the molten lead and the flange parts 12, 13 in the inner part of the cavity C with a visual observation, the formation of the lead part 11 is performed in order from the upper surface of the bottom part of the cavity C to the upper part thereof and also, the fuse-sticking between the lead part 11 and the flange parts 12, 13 is performed. Further, since the impurities, such as oxide, are floated up to the upper end part of the fuse-stuck surface between the lead part 11 and the flange parts 12, 13, the removal thereof is performed by using such as a spatula.
