A reflector includes a large number of hollow portions with arbitrary sizes randomly fabricated in an area with a predetermined unit length on one side to form a reflector piece. Reflector pieces are repeatedly fabricated to form a large reflective surface. The predetermined unit length is set from 30 to 3,000 mum. With this setting, Moire fringing can be efficiently avoided when the reflector is used as a reflector of, for example, a liquid-crystal display.
