The package has a dosing device (10) to provide defined amounts of coffee. The device is connected to a package body (1) consisting of a flexible material, and is positioned pref. in the lower part of the body. Package body and device are connected via thermal sealing, adhesive, or UV seal, to be only partially detachable. The device has an adapter (11) with through bore, and this is connected to the body. The package has a flexible jacket (5) with excess pressure valve (8), and an element (47) which generates a protective gas when coffee is taken from the package. The element consists of two chambers (49,50), one with an outlet valve (52), containing two reacting mediums, and separated by a dividing wall (51) with passage (53) for one of the mediums.
