NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery high in characteristics such as a charge-discharge cycle characteristic; to provide a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery capable of realizing the lithium secondary battery; and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: This negative electrode 1 for a lithium secondary battery can reversibly store and release lithium. The negative electrode is characterized by that a collector 2 and a negative electrode material layer 3 disposed on the collector 2 are included therein; the negative electrode material layer 3 contains a thin film-like negative electrode material capable of reversibly storing and releasing lithium; and a lithium non-storing material 4 is disposed in at least one side selected from the surface and the inside of the negative electrode material layer 3.
