<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contention avoidance control method of a data transmission reception system capable of reducing the power consumption in a transmission waiting state to transmit the PS-POLL, the data transmission reception system, and a terminal for the data transmission reception system. <P>SOLUTION: Since each of terminals STA1, STA2 transmits the PS-POLL to an access point AP at a prescribed time interval resulting in that the opportunity of simultaneous transmission of the PS-POLL from the terminals STA1, STA2 to the access point AP is seldom caused, wasteful waiting of the terminals STA1, STA2 is avoided and the power consumption in the transmission wait state for the transmission of the PS-POLL is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
