摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method free from control of working pressure, and an abrasive used in the same. <P>SOLUTION: A lower magnetic pole iron core 2 and an upper magnetic pole iron core 3 are excited by electromagnets (coils) 5, 10 connected with a power source 14. A ground sample 1 is fixed on the lower magnetic pole iron core 2, and the abrasive 4 composed of new developed magnetic grinding fluid is put between the lower magnetic pole iron core 2 and the upper magnetic pole ion core 4. The lower magnetic pole iron core 2 is driven and rotated by an AC servo motor 7 through a coupling 6. Similarly, the upper magnetic pole iron core 3 is driven and rotated in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the lower magnetic pole iron core 2 by an AC servo motor 10 through a coupling 11. Rotating speeds of the AC servo motors 7, 10 are respectively detected by speed meters 8, 13 and controlled on the basis of a specific rotational frequency by a speed control device (not shown in Figure).
