IMAGE FORMING METHOD, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method with which the degradation of image density hardly occurs even if image formation is performed for a long period of time when development is performed by using a developer supplying means equipped with two or more chambers of developer storage compartments.

SOLUTION: The image forming method includes at least the processes of supplying a developer stored in a second developer storage compartment which communicates with a first developer storage compartment to the surface of an image carrier, supplying the developer stored in the second developer storage compartment at the time of development to the surface of the image carrier and properly replenishing the developer stored in the first developer storage compartment to the second developer storage compartment. The silica particulates contained in the first developer storage compartment and the silica particulates contained in the second developer storage compartment satisfy equation (1): S1/S2>1.0. In the formula, S1 and S2 respectively represent the contents (weight %) of the silica particulates contained in the developer stored in the first and second developer storage compartments.
