<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extraction time setting method capable of detecting a water level and securing a more accurate extraction amount. <P>SOLUTION: An area from a highest water level to a lowest water level in a water supply tank is divided into a plurality of first to n-th areas. A float is floated inside a water level take-out pipe and first to (n-1)-th sensors are provided on the boundaries of the respective areas of the pipe. When the float passes through an optional m-th sensor, an m-th area is recognized. In the respective areas, time for the water level to lower from the highest level to the lowest level is divided into a plurality of sections, an established water amount is decided beforehand for each section and an established water amount table is defined. After the m-th area is established, the time after starting extraction is measured and made to correspond to the table and the established water amount is decided. For each established water amount to be reduced from the maximum value, a specified correction value smaller than "1" is determined beforehand. When a water level deciding operation is ended, the correction value for the established water amount is selected from the table and the selected correction value is multiplied with the extraction time for the maximum established water amount.
