<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an OLED element emit light with its original brightness even after it is left unused for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: A drive method includes a step of driving all the OLED at first at their maximum brightness (Step S1), a step of confirming the finish of the above step (Step S2), and a step of changing them to the normal use conditions meeting the original purpose such as image display and illumination (Step S3).
