<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic music device with a download function, which can easily confirm whether the device can store digital content desired to be downloaded. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic music device acquires from a Web server 3 the name of digital content, and information on a download page 3a, including a button 3b for starting a digital content storage area inspecting function part and a button 3f for downloading the digital content, and displays a picture shown in Figure (a). When the user selects the button 3b, free areas of a built-in storage device 5 and an external storage device 6 are inspected, and a screen shown in Figure (b) is displayed. The reference 11 is the inspection screen of the space areas (capacity, the number of files). When the user selects the button 3c, the electronic music device makes access to the Web server 3, and acquires the desired digital content stored in a contents database 4, and makes the built-in storage device 5 or the external storage device 6 store them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
