<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving mode realizing apparatus and its method of a telematics terminal which minimizes current consumption in a receiving waiting state when the telematics terminal mounted on a vehicle is operated in the power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The power saving mode realizing apparatus of the telematics terminal includes a control portion which is powered off at a receiving waiting power saving mode, a mobile communication modulator-demodulator which receives a time information from a base station and operates in the receiving waiting state and in the power saving mode periodically depending on an actual time information, a clock oscillator for driving a timer to calculate the actual time information. and a signal combining portion to control a main power source supplying portion by combining a signal applied by each communication interface portion with a power source controlling signal applied from the mobile communication modulator-demodulator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
