PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner having an attachment with improved convenience by freely changing and keeping the changed direction of a brush. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 1 comprises: a cleaner main body 2; a hose 3 whose one end is connected to a connection port 2A arranged in the cleaner main body 2 and whose other end includes a connection part 3A; an extension pipe 5 whose one end is connected to the connection part 3A of the hose 3; a floor brush 7 to be connected to the other end of the extension pipe 5; and the attachment 10 arranged in the connection part 3A of the hose 3 or at the other end side end part of the extension pipe 5. The attachment 10 comprises: a holding body 11 arranged on the outer surface of the connection part 3A of the hose 3 or the other end side end part of the extension pipe 5; a brush bristle base 12 with a brush 16 for dust collection arranged at least partially on the end surface; a substantially tubular cylinder 13 communicating with the brush bristle base 12; and a freely expansible bellows hose 17 which has an internal blow passage 14 and connects the holding body 11 to the cylinder 13.
