PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which performs a proper white paper photography even when the light emission color temperature from a strobe changes. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus obtains a first white balance control data, based on data of a representative for the whole or part of imaging data for every color component data or an average for every color component thereof, corrects the first white balance control data to obtain a second white balance control data, based on the correlation between first light emission information sent from a stroboscope equipment and second light emission information sent from the stroboscope equipment at photographing, and adjusts the white balance for the regular photographing, using the second white balance control data.
