PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel equipped with a flower-shaped hood that can store the flow-shaped hood in compact manner by reversely fitting the flower-shaped hood, while securing the light shielding performance of the flower-shaped hood. SOLUTION: The lens barrel equipped with a flower-shaped hood 2 provided with a plurality of cut parts 6 at tip parts has an outer cylinder 1, a tripod seat 3 which is provided on an outer-diameter side of the outer cylinder 1 and can rotate on its axis, a tripod seat fixing knob 5 which is provided on the outer-diameter side of the outer cylinder 1 and fixes rotation of the tripod seat 3, and a positioning part 9 which is provided at the tip of the outer cylinder 1 and positions a held part 10 of the flower-shaped hood 2; and the distance from the held part 10 to the tip part 7 is larger than the distances from the positioning part 9 to the tripod seat 3 and tripod seat fixing knob 5; and when the held part 10 of the flower-shaped hood 2 is fixed to the positioning part 9, while the tip part 7 faces the tripod seat 3, at least portions of the tripod seat 3 and tripod seat fixing knob 5 are stored in two of the cut parts 6, respectively.
