PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which has uniform shape and is small in the width for granularity distribution by an environmentally-friendly method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the toner by using liquid containing raw material for manufacturing the toner has a coalescence process of pulverizing and discharging the liquid from a plurality of head parts, provided with discharge parts, and allowing these to collide against each other and to coalesce to each other to obtain coalesced matter and a caking process of caking the coalesced matter, while conveying the same in the caking part. The amount of the liquid drop, for a single drop component of the liquid discharged from the head parts, is 0.01 to 600 pl. The at least first head part and the second head part are provided, and the amount of the discharge for the one drop component of the liquid discharged from the first head part and the amount of the discharge for the single drop component of the liquid discharged from the second head part are nearly equal to each other.
