PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the signal-to-noise ratio of a voice signal, by which the mixing of acoustic noise generated from an inverter transformer of an inverter circuit, driving a fluorescence discharge tube for a backlight of a liquid crystal display into a microphone with which the liquid crystal display is integrally provided can be prevented or reduced. SOLUTION: The microphone 6 is separated and disposed at a position farthest from the inverter transformer 5 of the inverter circuit 4, or when an operation for actuating a recording function and a voice recognition function handling voice input from the microphone 6 is performed, interlocking the operation, a light-reducing operation of the fluorescence discharge tube of the inverter circuit by pulse width modulation is suspended and switched to a continuous operation.
