METHOD FOR IMAGE PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for image processing by which an image where a lesion candidate area exists is detected from an endoscope image.

SOLUTION: The method comprises: an input step for imaging the inside of a body cavity and inputting image data having color tone information; a calculation step for calculating a featured value about a prescribed feature based on the color tone information which the image data have; and a comparison step for comparing a reference featured value preset based on the prescribed color tone information set in advance with the featured value calculated at the calculation step, and whether or not there is a featured value based on the color tone information of the image data corresponding to the reference featured value is judged according to a comparing result at the comparison step.
