<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a travelling locus of a vehicle on the road where the vehicle is travelling. <P>SOLUTION: Distance data are calculated by using stereo matching based on a pair of image data outputted by imaging a scenery including the road in front of the vehicle. A recognition part 10 recognizes the position of the road in front of the vehicle in a three-dimensional space with the vehicle position as a standard based on the calculated distance data, and thereby calculates a road model specifying a road shape. A detection part 13 detects a vehicle parameter showing the travelling state of the vehicle. A recording part 14 correlates the calculated road model with the detected vehicle parameter, and then stores them in time series. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
