<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit wherein thermal harmful influence on and unexpected contingency in a charging portion can be prevented from occurring, without incurring increase in cost, when the charging portion and other boards are provided in one and the same space. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply unit 100 is provided therein with the charging portion 100A and is so constructed that power stored in the charging portion 100A can be discharged. Cell portions 100A1 of capacitors for use in the charging portion 100A and a balance circuit board 100A3 are disposed via a thermal insulation member 100A2 in-between, and the power supply unit 100 is provided with a mechanism 101A for forcibly taking in the outside air and cooling heat-radiating members 100A4, for elements mounted on the balance circuit board 100A3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
