<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structured document processing apparatus, which more quickly outputs node contents information on nodes included in a specified part in a tree structure of a structured document using encoding data. <P>SOLUTION: The structured document processing apparatus processes encoding data of a structured document, in which the tree structure of the structured document is divided into every specified part, a partial identification number is assigned to each of the specified parts and a node identification number is assigned to each node that is included in the specified part for every specified part in ascending order.
