<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument capable of generating a musical sound with a proper timbre, corresponding to an operating position by detecting actually detected position information relatively correctly, by properly correcting position information corresponding to a closure position by reference to positional information outputted from a displacement sensor, when closure position is detected. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument is capable of acquiring musical sound control information which is always proper, since correction information is acquired based upon current position information, each time an operator is detected being at a reference position. Therefore, even when there is a shift in original reference position, there will be the effect where a proper musical sound corresponding to the position of the operator can be generated with the invariably proper musical sound control information which is obtained as mentioned above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
