PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for suppressing picture quality deterioration due to a reference to transparent color pixels when image processing to pixels under consideration is carried out by referring to the other pixels. SOLUTION: The image processor 2 extracts pixel values of non-transparent color pixels from image data including non-transparent color pixels and transparent color pixels, and calculates the mean pixel value of the extracted non-transparent color pixels, and selects pixel values of the transparent color pixels according to the calculated mean pixel value for application. Thus, the pixel values of the transparent pixels can be set so as to be close to the peripheral non-transparent color pixels, so that picture quality deterioration can be suppressed even when interpolation processing is carried out by referring to the transparent color pixels.
