PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single blade drilling tool which is excellent in dynamic balance and high in tool rigidity. SOLUTION: The single blade drilling tool (1) is constituted as follows. One chip discharging groove (10), which is extended from the tip to the rear end side along the center axis line (O), is provided on the outer periphery of a tool body (2) in an approximately columnar shape. A cutting edge (3a) is provided at the tip part of the chip discharging groove (10). At least one hole (20A or 20B) and/or at least one groove (30A or 40A) in a state of being extended from the tip to the rear end side along the center axis line (O) are/is formed in order to bring the centroid (G) of a cross-sectional figure of the drilling tool (1) and the center axis line (O) closer to each other when cut in the face perpendicular to the center axis line (O) in a range, where the chip discharging groove (10) is provided, in the direction along the center axis line (O).
