Reversible adhesive compositions, methods of making reversible adhesive compositions, and kits containing the components required to make reversible adhesive compositions are provided. A reversible adhesive composition can comprise a mixture including a free radical polymerization initiator activated by actinic light, an alkoxylated acrylate, and a pharmaceutically acceptable filler. This reversible adhesive mixture can be cured by exposure to actinic light. The cured reversible adhesive composition loses it adhesive properties when exposed to ultrasonic waves/vibrations.
