<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a print time from being made excessive due to a time required for the synthesis of color conversion profiles. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of types of color conversion profiles are prepared for each type. When a printer driver is installed, a plurality of types of color conversion profiles are selected one by one, and the selected plurality of color conversion profiles are compounded so that a color conversion lookup table for a specific printer can be prepared.
