INK RESERVOIR OF PRINTHEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purge a printhead only with as small quantity of ink as possible by using a positive pressure purging system. SOLUTION: A printhead reservoir includes: a plate 12 having first and second sides; and a passage extending through the plate. The plate defines an angled channel 98 in communication with the passage. The plate also defines an outlet region 102 in communication with the channel 98.
