PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable recording medium, a recording medium reproducing apparatus, and a recording medium reproducing method in which several programs are extracted from a plurality of programs recorded in a portable recording medium, a program is selected non-sequentially from the extracted programs, and reproduction can be performed. SOLUTION: This disk records contents data information 221 and contents index information 220A, and the contents data information 221 includes a plurality of programs, the contents index information 220A a flag 300 indicating existence of non-sequential reproduction of a program in the contents data information 221 and a kind , the number of times of repeat information 301 of a program at the time of non-sequential reproduction , and a program selection conditions information table 302A. The program selection conditions information table 302A includes reproduction propriety information indicating propriety of reproduction at the non-sequential reproduction for each program unit corresponding to user definition program selection conditions information of a reproducing apparatus side.
