PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine that can minimize a leakage even if a refrigerant leaks into an article storage. SOLUTION: When a changeover switch 61 switches a first article storage 30 to a heating operation, solenoid valves 51a to 51c are closed, and a predetermined time after the switching operation of the changeover switch 61, the second and third solenoid valves 51b and 51c for second and third article storages 31 and 32 to be cooled are opened. A refrigerant remaining in a refrigerant circuit 50 in the first article storage 30 to be heated can be thus recovered into the refrigerant circuit 50 outside the first article storage 30, and the refrigerant that leaks into the first article storage 30 to be heated can be minimized.
