PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel device executing a stable reel rotation by eliminating rotation deflection of reels caused by imbalance of a gravity center in a reel attachment position to a reel driving motor output shaft and to provide a game machine using the reel device. SOLUTION: This reel device for use in a slot machine and the like comprises reels having symbol display parts on their outer circumferential parts and a reel driving motor and is formed by inserting the tip part of the output shaft of the motor in a hole part provided in the central part of the reels. A rotation stabilizing member is attached by making the output shaft of the motor penetrate therethrough. This constitution allows the rotation stabilizing member to prevent minor shaft deflection of the output shaft caused by the imbalance of the gravity center in the reel attachment part and provide the slot machine capable of executing the reel rotation without rotation deflection and providing a player with a suitable symbol visibility.
