OSCILLATORY LINEAR ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve stress which is added to a coupling for supporting a moving member freely of reciprocation to a stator block. SOLUTION: This oscillatory linear actuator comprises a stator block 1 which is constituted of an electromagnet and is fixed to the housing of an apparatus and a moving member 2 which is equipped with a permanent magnet 6 and is supported freely of reciprocation to the above stator block and is reciprocally oscillated by the excitation of the stator block 1. A coupling 9, which couples the stator block 1 and the moving member 2 and supports the moving member 2 freely of reciprocation, is made to be able to flex also in the direction of opposition between the stator block and the moving member in addition to the flexion in the direction of reciprocation of the moving member 2. Stress, which originally concentrates upon the end to be coupled with the moving member 2 or the stator block 1 of the coupling 9, is dispersed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
