The invention relates to a watch (1) comprising a face (2) with a middle (8) and a clockwork (4) provided with a time-setting rod (18) in a first peripheral region, said clockwork (4) also comprising a first and a second control element (20, 22) that are arranged on either side of the time-setting rod (18) and are at an angle of less than 90 DEG with the time-setting rod (18) in relation to the centre of the clockwork. Said watch (1) also comprises an actuating device provided with a first slide and a second slide (14, 16) arranged on the face (2) next to the clockwork (4), for respectively actuating said first and second control elements (20, 22). The inventive watch (1) is characterised in that both the first and second slides (14,16) are at angles larger than 90 DEG with the time-setting rod (18), in relation to the centre of the clockwork, the first and second slides (14, 16) are arranged in a second peripheral region of said clockwork, the actuating device also comprises a transmission mechanism (24) extending between the first slide (14) and the first control element (20), and between the second slide (16) and the second control element (22), and the transmission mechanism (24) is independent of the clockwork (4). |
