EXTRA ERROR CORRECTING METHOD FOR ZAPPING STREAM TS PACKET

摘要

Although the capacity of a packet lowers, a parity code generated by a shortening error correction code of RS (255, 191) is inserted into the private data field of the adaptation field of a TS packet. The parity code can be inserted into the adaptation field at two points, i.e. a "stuffing byte" field where the length can be known indirectly from an adaptation field length field and a "transport private data" field capable of describing the length directly with a transport private data length field.
