An anchor system for the anchoring of a load in e.g. a concrete component, comprises a bore (2) in the component, with a first section (7) of larger diameter (d1) to accommodate an anchor head (4), and a second section (11) of smaller diameter (d2) into which fits the shank (5) of the anchor. Connected to the end of the anchor shank furthest from the load is an anchor foot (6) protruding radially in relation to the diameter (ds) of the anchor shank. An undercut (15) is formed in the second bore section above the foot, and the remaining free bore space is filled with grouting mortar.
