Chemo enzymatic synthesis of diamine derivatives comprises enantioselective acylation to produce e.g. aminoindanols

The chemo-enzymatic synthesis of diamino derivatives has enantioselective acylation catalyzed by e.g. lipases in organic media of the hydroxyl groups of the amino alcohols. The products are (1S,3S) and (1S,3R) enantiopure aminoindanols and the corresponding (1R,3R) and (1R,3S) acetylated products, for production of 3-aminoindan-1-ol and indan-1,3-diamine.
