The method involves placing a damp-proofing sheet comprising toroidally-wound cylindrical object having diameter corresponding to that of pit and length suited to depth of pit, on base or inverted dome of pit. The lower end of the cylindrical object is fixed to lower portion of the pit and the sheet is unwound using upward movement. The final side walls of the pit are formed above the sheet. An independent claim is also included for device for damp-proofing and concreting of circular pits.
