The exchanger has heat exchanging modules (102) defining a path for heat transfer fluid flow. Each module has two metal plates (3) inflated between weld lines (4) for defining canals (6a-6d) with different hydraulic diameters. A path (28) is arranged between the two modules for condensable heat transfer fluid flow. The hydraulic diameter of the path is reduced as the condensation of the condensable heat transfer fluid occurs.
