METHOD OF BENDING OF LENGTHY ARTICLES

The invention relates to the machine building and can be used for manufacture of steel annular articles by working by pressure. A method of bending of lengthy articles includes cyclically successive feed and bending of the elementary sections of the billet. Prior to feed to the bending elements the billet is heated by high-frequency currents to the plastic state. After bending on the bending elements the shape of articles is fixed in the conductor. The point of the joint of initial and final edges of billet are pressed by rolls to its complete cooling. The method allows to reduce the efforts of bending of articles and duration of bending, to improve the quality of articles.
