PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel frame erection auxiliary adjusting tool capable of accurately readjusting a steel frame column by a simple constitution and a method, and a steel frame erection adjusting method using this steel frame erection auxiliary adjusting tool. SOLUTION: After adjusting the erection of a lower side steel frame column 3 and an upper side steel frame column 5 by a steel frame erection adjusting tool 6, when requiring the readjustment of erection by the plumbing of a horizontal beam or the like, two tools 1 are prepared, and among the lower side steel frame column 3, an upper side steel frame column 5 and the steel frame erection adjusting tool 6, a fitting part 10 of one tool 1 is fitted to an upper side erection piece 4 in a state of extending a vertical rod 9 downward, and a fitting part 10 of the other tool 1 is fitted to a lower side erection piece 2 in a state of extending the vertical rod 9 upward, and two jacks 41 are arranged in parallel or series between these tools 1, to adjust erection in the vertical direction or the horizontal direction by driving the respective jacks 41.
