PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elasticized toweling having excellent stretchability, durability, moisture absorbency and air permeability and giving little stimulation to the skin. SOLUTION: The toweling is composed of a ground yarn and a pile yarn. At least a part of the ground yarn is a yarn composed of a side-by-side conjugate-type or eccentric sheath-core conjugate-type actual crimped polyester conjugate filament containing at least one layer having a polytrimethylene terephthalate as a main component and/or a yarn composed of the actual crimped polyester conjugate filament and a cellulosic spun yarn, and the pile yarn is a cellulosic spun yarn and/or a yarn composed of a cellulosic spun yarn and other fibers.
