PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sedimentation vessel excellent in sedimentation and separation properties of solid contents while being relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: Raw water is fed into a feed well 12, mainly flows along the inner peripheral wall surface 11b of the vessel body from the bottom surface 11a of the vessel body, overflows an overflow weir 15 and is discharged from a clear water discharge pipe 16. Sedimentation and separation are efficiently carried out by flowing the water through tilted plates 14 during flowing of the water along the inner peripheral wall surface 11b of the vessel body. Sediment flows along the bottom surface 11a of the vessel body from the inner peripheral wall surface 11b of the vessel body, flows into a discharge part 13 of a pit and is discharged from the discharge part 13 to the outside of the vessel body 11.
