PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the enhancement of positioning precision and the conservation of energy at the time of positioning control and the enhancement of pressure control precision and the conservation of energy at the time of pressure control, in a compression molding machine for molding an object to be molded by performing the positioning and pressure control of a movable member with respect to a fixed member. SOLUTION: The compression molding machine 11 is constituted so as to mold the object to be molded by performing the positioning control and pressure control of the movable member 15 with respect to the fixed member 13 and equipped with a control device 29 constituted so that the detection value of a position sensor 16 is fed back to control a servo valve 21 while the position of the movable member 15 to the fixed member 13 is subjected to closed loop control at the time of positioning control and the detection value of a pressure sensor 28 is fed back to control at least one of the discharge rate and discharge pressure of a pump 22 to subject the pressure to closed loop control at the time of pressure control.
