PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a sealing cap of almost a cylindrical shape, which has a cap body and an auxiliary cylinder, which are formed integrally to compose the cap, and facilitates the connection of the auxiliary cylinder to the lower end of the peripheral wall of the cap body and fitting of the cap on the neck-to-mouth part of the container. SOLUTION: According to the container, an engaging projecting ridge 5 is formed circumferentially on the lower part of the container neck-to-mouth part 4, of which the part that is above the projecting ridge 5 is formed into a male screw cylinder 6. The circumferential wall 12 of the cap body is screwed onto the outer surface of the male screw cylinder 6, and the auxiliary cylinder 11b is drooped from the lower end of the circumferential wall 12 in a separable manner. Each part of the circumferential wall 12 and of the auxiliary cylinder 11b are connected via a breakable connecting piece 14 to integrate the cap body and and the auxiliary cylinder 11b together. An elastic barb 15 is formed on the inner surface of the auxiliary cylinder 11b to project upward and inward, and the upper end of the barb 15 is hooked on the under surface of the engaging projecting ridge 5.
