PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording body which can obtain a lithographic printing plate requiring no dampening water, using no liquid such as a developing liquid or the like for plate making. SOLUTION: The recording body is composed of a substrate and a recording layer comprising an ink affinitive member and an ink repelling member formed on the substrate, with the ink affinitive member partially exposed in the air near the surface of the recording layer.
