<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damages to a compressor or the like, by detecting the open phase of the detector quickly and surely using simple software. <P>SOLUTION: This compressor controller is equipped with a current-detecting means 4 which detects the current flowing to each phase of the compressor 3, a deciding means 5 which compares the detected current of each phase with a reference value thereby deciding whether it is at or under the reference current value, and a protection acting means 7 which stops the action of the compressor when the current of each phase is at or under the reference value. This can decide the open phase of the compressor 3, whose constitution is simplified more than conventional one, by deciding only once whether it is at or smaller than the reference current value, a protection operation can be set, before occurrence of trouble at open phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
