<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail joint which is arbitrarily bendable in any direction. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail joint is composed of four joint members 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d each formed of a circular portion 5 having a circular cross section arranged on one side thereof, and a semicircular portion 6 having a semicircular cross section arranged on the other side thereof. The joint members 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d are axially arranged side by side, and the two central joint members 1b, 1c are abutted against each other via their circular portions 5 while the two joint members 1b, 1c are abutted against the outside joint members 1a, 1d, respectively, via plane portions of the semicircular portions.
