PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of efficiently performing control even in the case of complicated functions or simultaneity of a plurality of inputs/outputs, of making another request wait during processing when a plurality of request modes are multiply requested, and of preferentially processing a request capable of being processed when the next process can not be processed for some reason. SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus for executing predetermined image processing until outputting inputted image data is equipped with: a plurality of image processing means each used for executing predetermined image processing to the image data; a combination means which combines the image processing means required for executing requested image processing within the image processing means based on a request of the image processing; and an acquisition/release control means which controls acquisition and release of the image processing means by the combination means.
