AUTOMATIC ICE MAKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice making apparatus capable of making transparent ice in a short time. SOLUTION: This automatic ice making apparatus comprises a cooling plate 19; an ice making tray 1 disposed on the cooling plate 19 and opened on the upper face side; a swing mechanism 31 for swinging the ice making tray 1; and a feed water pump 16 for feeding water to the ice making tray 1. The automatic ice making apparatus is constituted to adjust the amount of water supply and time of water supply operation of the feed water pump 16. Unfrozen water on the surface of ice is thereby made into a thin film, and the ice making tray 1 is swung to easily freeze the surface of ice while allowing water to flow by gravity, thus making transparent ice in a short time.
