PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe wrap film housing case, which hardly hurts the fingers of a person even if the person touches a serration of the housing case inadvertently with his or her fingers when cutting the wrap film on the serration or carrying the wrap film with the hand, and inflicts a least injury should the serration hurt the fingers. SOLUTION: The wrap film housing case 1 comprises a case body 2, which houses the wrap film 3 rolled into a cylindrical shape, a lid 2b, which is formed rotatably on the case body 2 to cover its opening, and a paper lid piece 2b1, which is connected to the front end of the lid 2b to overlap the front side board 2c of the case body 2. The metal serration 4 for cutting the wrap film 3 is attached to the front end side of the paper lid piece 2b1, where the front end of the lid piece 2b1 is extended to reach between the peaks and bottoms of the sawteeth 4a of the serration 4 in order to avoid the projection of the sawteeth 4a.
