PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for fitting a die with which the lower die of a forming die is fitted to the lower platen of a vertical forming machine, wherein structure is simplified, and further, the forming die is miniaturized and lightened in weight. SOLUTION: The surface of a lower die base 4 on the side of a machine is provided with a pair of die base supporting blocks 5. Each die base supporting block 5 is provided with each hacker 2. Each hacker 2 is made close to a lower die 1, and each pin 2b of each hacker 2 is engaged with each fitting hole 3 provided at the lower die base 6 on the side of the die. Thus, a clamping mechanism with a complicated structure driven via a hydraulic circuit or the like is abolished, and it is extremely simply composed. Further, the quantity of the sliding movement of each hacker 2 to each hacker supporting part 5b in each die base supporting block 5 is controlled in accordance with the kind of the lower die 1, thus it can be made to correspond to two or more kinds of lower dies with different sizes.
