PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block toy consisting of safe blocks made of natural materials, capable of assisting growth of three senses (vision, smell and touch) or rehabilitation. SOLUTION: A projection part 3 is formed at the center on the upper surface of a cubic base 1. A recess part 4 is formed on the lower surface of the base in the direction along the projection part 3, and a cut recess part 5 orthogonally crossing the direction of forming the recess part 4 is formed to make each block toy. Accordingly, blocks A and A disposed adjacently to each other can be connected by engaging the projection part 3 with the recess part 4, or engaging the projection part 3 with the cut recess part 5, so that blocks A can be connected one after another.
